Acidity is off the charts on this one. Lots of citrus fruits, fresh grass, bit of mineral. Young, enjoyable to drink.

Nose has seashells, sea spray, fresh strawberries, cold butter or cream, washed lemons, lemon juice and over-ripe green apple.

Palate has lemon creme, (light) strawberry, lemon zest, mild oak, freshly whipped cream and wet flint.

Nice wine, our first time having this particular 1er Cru vineyard, but...the oak, while it is sort of neutral, it is the underlying impact to the palate. I'm thinking they likely do not use new oak, but 2-4 year old barrels, but just a little much for my palate on a Chablis. I'm really a fan of very neutral oak or all stainless steel treatment.

24 Hour Update: Wood notes are gone, all about (light) lemon curd, limestone paste and cut strawberry today, wonderfulness.

Quinine, white peaches, lemon oil, kaffir lime leaves, crushed shells...and vanilla bean and cocoa butter on the nose

Creamy breadth with laser acidity

Granny Smith and Green Anjou, peach nectar, and lime aid on the palate with hints of both oak and minerality in the finish

Pale lemon with developing aromas of green apple, lemon, wet stone, flint, cheese, yogurt, hay, and mushroom. Dry, high acidity, medium body and medium alcohol. Medium intensity flavors of straw, wet stone, hay, lemon and nectarine. Drink now but has potential for further aging. Very good quality.

Lithe, angular, notable minerality.

Let this breathe. Perfect nose, but imperfect palette. The nose is a spring day, full of Chardonnay fruit and flowery. The palette is green apple to start, changing to an unpleasant sour apple flavor that dissipated after breathing, and finishing with crisp acidity. A good Chablis, but not worth its high price. I would have given it a 9 if priced at $30 or below.

Delicious and classic! I really enjoyed this wine with asparagus (of all things) pizza. Lemon mousse, mineral character, clean and precise.

Showing more oxidation than I anticipated. May not be for the long haul, but pretty delicious right now.
