On the palate flavors fresh fruit, apple and lemon-grapefruit with attractive acidity, with richness from lees aging. Medium finish, ending with crisp fruit, citrus and mineral notes. Drinks well now.

Tasting this after a Grüner with a lot of similarities minus the Sur Lie. Bright yellow, wet slate/stone minerals. Medium bodied with straw grass/yeasty notes. Rounded edges with some viscosity, dry finish with a ever so tiny bit of acidity that tingles the tip of you tongue tricking you into thinking this has some Vinho Verde bubbles. Another fun and fresh wine but wrong food to put it in front of.

Beautiful mineral backbone wraps around crisp orchard fruit with drizzled wildflower honey and peach blossom, hints of smoke. Refined but generous, went extremely well with a cioppino dinner.
