Jean-Claude Pichot’s family is one of the oldest in Vouvray, with origins dating back to 1739. 100% Chenin Blanc, with aromas of fresh tropical fruits and honey nuts. On the palate pineapple and melon with lime citrus, lively acidity, good balance with a touch of sweetness on the medium finish. Went well with chops drizzled in a balsamic glaze.

It's very nice. That's about all I can say. It's a little candy pear on the nose. White girls would love this.

Good value and approachable. Not as interesting as other wines but it is crisp and easy to drink.

2011. Yumyumyum. Satisfying with plenty of sweet yellow orchard fruit and citrus, a nice bit of chalky minerality, and good acidity.

Now we're talking. Very pretty and bright--serious grapefruit acid to balance the sweetness.
