Knowing nothing about this wine I wasn't quite sure if it might be a cider. Had to look it up to find out it was made from a couple of rare varieties of grapes. It was fantastic. Apples and honey sparkling wine, dry but full and rich.

Unwrapping gifts 1/3. Opening unknown bottles is exciting. This petnat was a perfect apéritif. Clean, fresh, and frothy. Made out of Menu Pineau and Romorantin; world-famous in Cheverny. Thanks @Peter van den Besselaar!
