More depth than the Domaine Pelle ‘18 from the same appellation...black and red fruit, leather and potpourri, palate is sappy and mouth coating with ample tannins, but not heavy. Candidate for mid-term aging

My kind of PN—translucent purple, racy acidity, high toned berry and persimmon with lifted floral aromatics and earthy flavor, supple mineral texture. Transparent. Pure pleasure right out of the gate. So much great Pinot outside of Burgundy these days

Lots of vegan funk on the nose, and a streak that smells a bit like Pakistani lentil daal (sp.?). Oh yeah, and some sappy cherry fruit. This brings the earthy minerality in the mouth. Good weight and focus. A very blue collar cousin of Sancerre rouge. A standout with roast chicken.

Cherry, dust, leather. Drinking so well right now. An amazing alternative and relative value compared to wines from more well known PN producing regions.
