Bourgogne Côte d'Or Chardonnay

A little strange, maybe just young? Their 2020 Aligote was 🔥🔥🔥.

Needs time

This was fine, but a little too well behaved. The nose isn’t giving much away... no discernible oak, streamlined fruit profile, and nothing out of balance, but it lacked the energy and personality I’d hoped for.

Nice quality. Easy drinking. Chard Bourgogne does not get better than this. Green apples, lemon, hint tart and just the right acidity. Top producer and it shows even in this wine!

Really tasty, need to pick some up.

Just got a case of this stuff. Many years ago, this was my introduction to white Burgundy. 

Excellent! In a great place. Enjoyed over two nights.

Almost no nose. Needs to warm up and get plenty of air. Fruit is nice.
