Showing quite nicely. 2004. Rich caramel honeysuckle. Not premoxed.

2005. Bit of a shell of what it once was. But still nice wine.

The 2014 Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet is an absolutely sensational showing in this vintage. As this stunning chardonnay slowly begins to unwind it releases striking aromatics of fresh orchard fruits, lemon oil, citrus blossoms, crushed stones with underlying hints of oyster shell and flint that all develop beautifully in the glass. On the palate this possesses a simply gorgeous texture, with wonderful overall balance and precision. This continues to display remarkable combination of acidity and minerality all the way through the pretty finish. While this is clearly on the youthful side, it is still extremely impressive, especially if allowed some time to unwind. The 2014 should go on to age brilliantly for quite some time, and should certainly become even more compelling as it develops over time.

The best older white burg I’ve had all year. Immaculate!

Rounded with sweet edges with lemon oil and a touch of tangerine. Plush and very balanced with a polished, balanced acidity. Of a slightly riper, rounder style. Very good.

Strong showing for this 06 BBM from Perrot. Took a hour in the decanter to fully show, but well worth the wait

Spearmint, slate, honey on the nose. The palate is rounded, slightly sweet. Secondary notes running through and acidity settled with great balance. The mint notes keeps this super fresh throughout but there’s a lovely sweet and long core. Excellent

Darker gold. Musty at first but it blew off. Notes of apricot, spice, lemon and a little syrup. Rich and heavy in the mouth. Light, fine grained acidity in the finish. This bounced around from being in the zone to seeming like it's past it's prime. Fun, especially in the later hours, but drink up.
