Bright and buoyant this is woodsy and resinous but bright and taut with red fruit; pomegranate, red cherries, cinnamon bark, dried orange peels all combine to great effect -an elegant expression of Les Serpentières.

By the glass this past Thursday. Gives you a little more than a typical Savigny. Pretty fruit and dried flowers with a noticeable, though in no way unappealing, graphite presence on the nose. Something savory that I can't quite put my finger on. Elegant palate.

Pale ruby hue with evidence of garnet. Subtle haziness. Lots of red fruit on the nose - cherry pie, ripe strawberries, cranberries, raspberries, and vanilla, leather, mushroom, dried rose, and cherry blossoms. Refreshingly tart on the palate. Lovely wine. Upon further reflection, perhaps not the *ideal* complement to this particular meal (pan-seared pork chop and creamy three-apple salad), but still very nice. Taste, learn, repeat. #savignylesbeaune #burgundywine #pinotlover #pinotnoir #burgundypremiercru #lesserpentières #patrickjavillier #côtedebeaune #côtedor

I am hoping this is mainly due to its youth but this is extremely thin and light. Decanted for a hour. Red fruits with subtle touches of earth.
Give it another 3 to 5 yrs to develop further.

This was a terrific white Burgundy, with an elegant, toasty atoma, full body, and a lovely butteriness. The acidity was balanced and it had a really nice finish. Will probably be even better with a little bit of aging.

Excited about this one. Light-bodied, clear rim, translucent. Alcohol on the nose (13% abv), along with black cherry, earth, lemon, orange. Tannin is medium-minus, acidity is medium-plus. Very pleasing. I do think the acidity is a bit overbalanced.

Very light with red berries and fruits, not a lot of earthy characters in this one. Very much enjoyed.

This delight was inspired by Decanter Magazine's effusive praise of 2015 red Burgundy. Very primary after 2 hours of breathing time. Red cherries, spice, and good weight were all positive notes for me.

Quite enjoyable with that Bourgogne flair that truly distinguishes it from a pricey Pinot noir from the USA.
