2011. More bing cherry than the pernard-vergelesses, but a very strong showing as well.. Distinct earthiness on the nose, along with some bright red fruit. The palate is pretty vibrant, showing it still needs some time.. A bit of black tea and spice.. Nice bottle.

Sunny afternoon hanging with family and this was a great compliment. Everyone loved it. Ended up getting onto 2 bottles. It’s OK. I got lots for the long haul. Cheers. Hope everyone is safe, healthy, and enjoying family and friends during this crazy time.

I had to try one. It’s awesome. So light, the color Is medium garnet but more transparent than most. When I poured I worried this would be too thin, but not the case! The nose is floral, red fruit, and a touch of hay. Light body, but it dances. Cherries, pomegranate, strawberry... really nice. I can’t wait to try the next one after 5+ years and hope I give it time to let in some mushroom, soil, and brown sugar. I’m imagining this with that and think it’ll be a 97.

The nose is pleasing with a sweet intoxicating aroma. Bruised cherries and truffles on the palate. The high acid and pleasing tannins make this a very balanced wine. Got to love village level Bourgogne.

Lovely fruit perfume bouquet. Racy dark cherry and intensely tannic; seems to need another year or, at the very least, substantial aeration (smooths the tannic structure, transforming the experience into silkier fruit). L does not like, but made her decision somewhat early.

Floral and raspberry on the nose, red fruits and spice on the palate, nice tannins on the finish. Still needs a little time 8/30/15
