From old Gamay vines, bright red with red fruit aromas and pepper notes. On the palate cherry, lychee, currants and bits of banana flavors with espresso, oak and vanilla, soft tannins on lingering finish. Good balance, will age a bit. Nice value!

I love it, and Nellie says it's ok. Do not decant this wine. It lost some of its aromas after an hour.

2019v. Easy drinking cherry juice with an earthy graphite finish. Nothing too complex. This is NOT a wild carbonic maceration style Beaujolais nouveau. 13% ABV.

Nov 30th, 2020Medium ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of bread, cherry, cranberry, honey, pencil shavings, and strawberry. Medium-bodied, with medium tannins and medium-plus acidity. The aromas and flavors are rather delicate, almost muted. The wine feels too young and restrained right now and demands more time in the cellar to show itself.

Sweet and grape juice flavor. Lauren liked it a lot. "No bite" from Lauren.
I thought it was a little too sweet, but easy to drink. Not quite like the 2015 (or 14?) cave de fleurie that I liked so much. May be difficult to compete with a 3 year old memory of a wine though.
