Les Jardins Vin d'Alsace Riesling

Lots of texture and viscosity. Lemon, apricot, green apples.

Some width here but very enjoyable.

Pale green/yellow. Apple and lime. Searing acidity. Wet stone minerality. This is my jam. Nice with Nippon Tei salmon bowl.

Lovely Riesling from Alsace with apple and other fruits from the orchard, crisp and dry. Beautiful day here.

Reticent nose that requires focus to pick apart, but reveals baked orchard fruit (apricot, pear, apple), tangerine, and a chalky minerality. A bit more expressive on the palate with the addition of yellow flowers, but it’s all delicate and subtle. Round, plush texture and less acid than expected, but no complaints here. Ostertag just became available here in the Ozarks and while not what I anticipated, it’s a beautiful and complete wine. Anxious to try their other offerings.

Lovely ripe round orchard fruit. A nice foot in the door to the HQ Riesling vineyards of sunny dry Alsace via a top producer.

Full bodied, rich, flavors of peach, wet rock and a reductive notes of match stick.

Hey it’s a Friday night white. Dry Riesling this is plenty tasty. Light yellow color. Waxy lemon with a honeysuckle kicker. TGIF
