Maybe it's just better when you're staying at the guest house, overlooking the vines where the wine hails from but I'm really enjoying this village Chassagne. Precise, refreshing and delightful Burg.

Vanilla & butterscotch nose. Strangely doesn’t follow through in the mouth. Thankfully. Nice minerality instead.

2014.
Quel beau vin. Encore jeune mais superbe longueur.

If it didn’t have the mineral backbone the oaky-ness would be a bit much. Clean minerality. Serve a bit chilled.

First wine in 2.5 months - and well worth the wait. Vivaciously young and crisp with a glorious acidity in a pale yellow dress.

2010 vintage. A golden colour with a wonderfully rich nose of honey, pear, almond and lemon. The palate has lovely minerality and the acidity really keeps this wine fresh. A lovely long finish that leaves you wanting more. AG
