Great in the way that only burgundy can be great. Seamless and transparent while at the same time having profound depth and soul. What a wine!

Simple but elegant. Sour red cherry and some dusty/earthy character. Needed some time to open up but once it did, it crushed a more expensive Oregon Pinot that cost 60% more in a single-blind taste-off.

1994 vintage. Uninspiring, thin. Weak. A very challenging year - this wine has acidity but lacks weight, depth and character.
