Vintage 2016 | lots of minerals, fruit comes with aeration, very good balance. Also a hint of a medicinal impression. Nice.

After the sweet Riesling - a glorious contrast in minerality and acidity. Lemon juice and oyster shells. Great with chef Jaques' food.

Flirty pineapple, steely, golden apple yellow, teasingly delicious.

Yes everyone's right, bottle needed time and to warm up. In chilly fall Seattle, we had to spoon with it for a bit. Paid off though, clean on the palate. I find French white burgundies can have oak notes that make them taste musty to me. Not so here; fresh and fruit-forward, good acidity and medium body.
