Blanc. One if the best bottles of Lafarge I've had. Honeycomb, crazy chalky almost Chablis-like minerality, latecomer nutmeggy apple sauce, just perfect acid, and a bit of funky latex rubber glove-just enough for me. Just sang alongside lemon sole and bacon, browned onions, and a kale and apple salad. It's rare in my experience that the Lafarge wines feel ready and generous, but this was yielding yet youthful and impressive. Very glad I chose to drink this somewhere btwn relaxed and on the fruit. Opened this fearing I'd be disappointed by it, but ended up so pleasantly surprised. Man this would be so great with trout.
