Quite light medium ruby, with wide garnet rim . Quite a lot of spicy darker fruits , with blackberry , dark cherry , very fruit driven still , floral hints . On the palate there good density and bright acidity , quite rounded ripe but gritty tannin , with a quite sweet spiced darker fruit profile , with a touch of anise , earth and dark cherry on the medium length finish . This is drinking well and still showing quite a lot of fruit , quite rounded and ample in style . From now and over the next 5 or so years .

Pleasantly austere tannins, slight bricking, aging with elegance. Cedary and leafy nose. Sour cherry and tangy red plum, leather, earth. Lovely and fun to follow the fruit as it emerges and mellows with air. Slightly astringent finish is only flaw.
