Deep ruby color. Aromas of chocolate, cherries, and vanilla. Medium + tannins with flavors of blueberry, spice and tobacco. Medium finish.

Notes of Plum and anise with black tea leaves on the finish. Almost elegant for a vacqueyras yet with firm concentration. Well integrated tannins. Even more expressive the next day.

Cigar tobacco, cedar, anise, black pepper, and juniper with some dry black cherry fruit. Strong tannins. Some earth and stone. The fruit seems overwhelmed by everything else going on, so it's a little off balance. But it's still really interesting. It worked well with pork chops and a spicy homemade applesauce.

I’m impressed. Had this with lemon asparagus ravioli & blue cheese, which was weird, but this wine really balanced it out.

Very nice wine with legs for days. Slight fruit...but a strong finish that bends more to the dirt it was grown in. Very good and will enjoy it again.
