Domaine Marquis d'Angerville
Champans Volnay 1er Cru Pinot Noir
Tasting Group 4/3/22 My 2nd, Group 6th. Cherris and plums. Nice wood. Slight sprite. Seems younger than others in the tasting. Evident oak. Mouthful, nice grip.

Apr 4th, 2022From the Stone Barns Cellar and from the great D’Angerville, great intensity and focus showing plenty of red fruits, vibrant energy, hints of top soil and a cool minerality. Finishes wonderfully long and alluring. In a terrific place.

Jan 2nd, 2015Bing cherry perfume on nose with a whiff of VA. Fruit on palate is a little soft and the acid is a little more aggressive on the light tannins. Again, a little VA works itself into the finish.
