Bright red berries, roasted plum, licorice, vadouvan, clove, vanilla, wet rocks. Fresh rounded acidity, juicy-satin texture, medium bodied, smooth velvet medium tannins, baking spice stony finish. Crunchy fruit, shy mineral mid palate, beautiful chalk dust notes persisted throughout the lengthy finish. Wonderful in its glorious angular attack, best appreciated by lieu dit geeks, than Grand Cru connoisseurs. This will evolve into equal parts elegance and attitude once it hits the 10 year mark. Sampled throughout 2 hours: biodynamic calendar: fruit day.
