Buoyant and vibrant "simple" Bourgogne that punches way above its weight class. Balance, acids, stone fruit, tension are all that just hanging out without making big deal. Good value at 20 bucks back then.

Thanks to Max for the recommendation on this one. At first the nose is all oak, but on the palate it's not dominant. Overnight this opens up incredibly. Wonderful.
