Fabulous Chablis, served with poached lobster at The River Café, Water St., Brooklyn, NY — a month ago
Deep dark cherry. Orange zest. Earthy and rustic. Classic. But the wine lacks anything special where i would say wow. Wine oxidizes within 2 hours so air does not make a difference. So I will drink these bottles up. Note these wines needed to be aged for 15 years to develop. — 12 days ago
White and yellow florals. On the palate there are ripe citrus flavours. Delicate with a piercing intensity, if that makes sense - just the right amount of oak influence. At 10 years this white burgundy still has tension but overall a lean impression - a few years left in the cellar - I have one left. Points off for a ridiculously heavy and large bottle. I had to store it in my magnum storage. — a month ago
