I've been on a Corsican kick lately, and this was one of the more refined red examples. Lithe; on the drier side; well structured and smooth tannins; dark fruit, but not too heady; herbs d'provence. Really enjoyed this.

Corsica keeps on delivering great wines. This little gem drinks like a northern Rhone, with black pepper and olives, and lean, with a nice interplay between acid and tannic grip. The fruit is black, with hints of charred pepper steak and soy. Fuck. Yes.
