Lots of acidity, almost too much. The fruit shows candied notes but it’s mostly hidden. Definitely drinkable but slightly disjointed.

Powerful & straightforward red fruit. Spices on the nose adding complexity. Fruit ahead of structure & texture, and the fruit is wonderfully pure. Great example at this level.

As good as one could want from a basic Bourgogne rouge. Bright garnet with rim gradation. Delicate nose, appealing floral notes. Palate is cherry, foliage, delightfully fresh. Very enjoyable.

The 2013 was remarkably ready to drink, and had very nice, almost sappy, wild cherry fruit, and clean woodsy notes.
