Star bright pale yellow with green highlights. Inviting nose and medium palate of green apple, honeysuckle petal, and a hint of balsam on the finish and light vanilla overlay. Firm medium plus acidity from entry to finish makes for an excellent meal accompaniment in the style of Côte Chalonnais white, which makes sense as winemaker Laurent Montelieu is originally from Burgundy. Heck of a price for an actual Burgundian style, too. Enjoy with lemon-garlic Pacific salmon, roasted or fried chicken, scallops, or a wide range of “white wine” fare. Drink now through 2026.

Pale straw gold. Shy nose of quince and orange blossom. Palate is bright (medium plus acidity) yet medium bodied and yields quince, citrus, and bright straw. Finish is medium long and with just enough bitter to make you want more. A “unicorn” in that it’s about as close to true Burgundian style as I’ve had from the New World. I’d put this against a good Macôn-Village any day. Delicious with food (natch) and as a crisp summer sipper. Upscale your KFC like I did.

I find it pleasing to the palate and and excellent pairing with roasted vegetables.

Comparable to Macon villages perhaps, though even more delicate but very pure.

Ok. A bit tart - agree is like Macon village. Keep hoping to find low budget montrachet-esque chard from willamette...

Lightly oaked. Tropical fruit, tangerine, nectarines plus subtle honey and vanilla flavor. Great for a warm spring day.
