Les Lys Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay

This is Chablis premier cru les lys! Maybe I shouldn’t use a screenshot of me explaining it on Instagram whoops. Anyway Long-Depaquit is another Albert Bichot beauty. It is everything I could wish from a Chablis 1er: lemons, linen and lily. Triple L FTW. Gotten from First the Wine get the heck in. Goshdurnit.

Bloody delicious..,,which I preferred to the Les Preuses same vintage, same house. very lively, complex a very shapely wine still up on its toes with lovely mineralogy. Classic premier Cru Chablis

Not as much to my taste as more oaky

Light and easy drinking

Lovely minerality, so crisp

Distinctly Chablis. Chalk, seashells, oak. Very pale green.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy.

Huge minerality! Kind of fat on the palate with surprising alcohol.

Whoa! Briney minerality on the nose but then transforms on the palate. Oak up front and a bit hollow. Not what you'd expect from Chablis.
