Chablis Chardonnay

This Chablis has an edge. The acidity is screaming. Sharp lemons, crisp white peaches, and gentle white flowers brighten up the flint driven minerality. Pure, precise and to the point.

Nariz frutos secos y cítricos. En boca un poco corto pero con buena entrada y poca acidez.

About damn time I tried a Chablis.
Lemon cream. Bright citrus with that creamy malolactic butteriness. A pretty simple wine that is going to make me aim higher to get to that Chablis I am imagining. Palate wraps up in what at first I wanted to call one of the many things I called funk, until I looked a little harder to find it was that stereotypical gunflint rocky minerality. Big acidity. And now I want oysters. Pairs ok with my French fries.

I really enjoyed this 2014. Great mineral flavours and nice acidity. Very fresh with a long finish. Would buy again.

Rock solid entry level Chablis. Still finding its way, however, so I'd come back to this in a year or two.
