Still quite funky and filled with tart cherries & currents. Lighter side of medium bodied. Definitely could've benefitted from decanting. Despite the funk, it was quite enjoyable. We used some semi-aged Spanish goat cheese to nosh along with it.

Feb 18th, 2016Solid dry, just light enough for me. Very slight earth, juuuust enough. Prefer it chilled actually since it’s almost spring-like right now. Tried it at room temp and it was a different animal, less personality. With bolognese right now but could go with anything.

Apr 24th, 2018Not as much going on here as with other vintages of this wine. Took a while to open up and remained somewhat thin. Still, a solid budget Chinon.
