Leflaive Clavoillon 2014- Popped and poured without decant. Opens up beautifully in the glass over the course of the meal to show fantastic balance, tension and minerality to complement its creamy texture, lemony acidity and stone fruit expression. A great Clavoillon!

Bu sur 2 jours. Première journée peu expressif, pas beaucoup de fruits, plutôt terne. Deuxième journée le vin s’est manifesté différemment et pour le mieux. Exhuberant, fleurs blanche, abricot, miel, petite touche exotique. Belle longueur

Aroma of floral toast. A bit too much reduction and matchstick. Not overpowering, but in combination with some oak char gave it a slightly breadlike characteristic. Quite a warm finish. Something just not quite right in how it all came together.
