Feb 29th, 20242019 is terrific in Volnay and this has it all. What village wines should aspire to. Huge stanky nose of sweet cherries with a lipstick like intensity, rocky minerals and some nice florals. So expressive and has that 19 richness. Palate is rich and expressive with terrific freshness and tons of rile cherries. Ready to go on p and p but air will be this wine’s friend. So juicy and lush. Really terrific acidity. Lush, succulent and tangy as well.

Shy for just a sec...needs like three and a half minutes to open up, blossom, spray perfumes.
It's uncomplex, but vibrant, fruity, woodsy. Feels fresh, rich, and textured with a sweet cherry syrup and raspberry plum finish.
