This is a great Syrah. I would decant it and let it open up. I am getting some earthiness with tobacco and pepper. Once opened it’s very smooth, medium plus acidity and the dark fruit comes through in the end with pepper. Would be great with game or steak.

Very nice Syrah. Brusque nose, smooth sipping. Relatively simple flavor, but a very satisfying one. A little boozy, a little minerally.
