Old world, backward, earthy and tannic to start. Reminded me young cdp like pegau. Needed time to open up and once it did nite as singing with notes of coffee, sage, anise, and dark red fruits on the nose.

Bright ruby color, smokey aromas with dried cherry and peppery notes. Opened with some funk but went back to it a few hours later and it had blown off. Pungent red fruit, wild game and floral flavors dominate. Nice structure, powerful but balances with graceful tannins. Old world style with an extra kick of fruit that appeared more prevalent the longer the bottle was open.
