Les Fremiets Volnay 1er Cru Pinot Noir

A little tired, not much fruit. Got a little better after a couple hours, but not much.

1989 vintage. Delicate and refined, fully mature and still drinking beautifully.

Burgundy for chicken 🍔. The is the most complete Voillot wine I've ever had

2nd place WOTN for me, such a turn on to how '11 is evolving. Crushed cranberry, spiced cherry, baked mushroom, gentian, sassafras, red licorice--and then the palate just explodes with depth of flavors. This has a long way to go!

2010 drinking great

Very perfumed, feminine, light and gentle

Much better than expected, and in a very nice spot.

Beautiful. Joseph Voillot really knows his stuff!

2017 vintage. Peppery, bright cherry with a great balance of acidity and tannin structure. Medium to light body with a warming sensation once swallowed. Very good wine.

2017 fried chicken green unripe bing cherries del scorcho hot sauce pepper mouth pine cone baby burp delight. Still a good volnay shoulda waited 5 more years
