Still developing, all business at this point, nothing flashy but has it together. All of the classical northern Rhône things are there (violets, pepper, smoked meat, herbs et al). A nice way to experience the maestro without shelling out big(ger) bucks for the Hermitage

Very good, balanced wine, even if could stand a few more years of aging. Savory notes with hints of fruit of the nose. Palate: well-integrated melange of blackberries, black cherry, white pepper, pine, flint and the meaty quality this region is famous for. Long finish of cocao and gunpowder.

Open and beautiful now showing tons of complexity and fruit without being overripe.

The nose is surprisingly subdued with black raspberry, plum and red cherry fruit. The spice tones lean towards white pepper with touches pine and asphalt. Lovely balance on palate but fruit is a touch muted. All the components are in place but this wine needs a little cellar time

Reserved but with nice strength/body once it opened up a bit after opening. Refined cherry, tart berry with slight minerality one might expect from Rhone

Deep purple color. Nose reminds me of plum sauce, blackberry bramble, black olive, cured meat, and leather. Nicely balanced with acidity on the palate, noticeable tannins, and notes of tobacco, cigar box, vanilla, graphite, and leather.
