Dazzles from the very first pour. Rich and viscous but not at all unpleasantly heavy. Shows superb depth, intensity and a thrilling mid-palate with a creamy and luscious mouthfeel. Stone fruits, grilled nuts, honeysuckle, crushed stones and with a 30 second finish. HOWEVER, after 2 hours in the decanter the wine coils up and shuts down and out the window goes all those terrific attributes. Good thing I’m a quick drinker 😉
