Hermitage Blanc Marsanne Roussanne

Super dense, thick and waxy in texture. Peach, quince, roasted hazelnuts, honeysuckle, hints of earth, long finish.

Fresh and distinct. White flower and bright corn. Good acidity.

Wish I could afford it 😩

Waxy, tasty, but not even close to at peak.

Pretty disappointing showing. Missed it blind. Blanc.

Easily the best white I’ve had and top ~10 or ~20 overall. So much going on in every sensory category. And this is only a young adult.

Waxy notes up front - over time palate filled out. Almost like grocery store vanilla cake

Unfortunately this has gone past it's prime. I liked it because it was old.

2007 : un des meilleurs vins blancs du Rhône ! Réglisse très prononcé ! Belle longueur complexité certaine. Fraîcheur incroyable en bouche amertume positive ! Excellente découverte !
