Consistently decent CDR

Maybe the best Cotes du Rhône I’ve had. Drinking like a Saint Joseph. Pepper, cured meats, brambly fruit, crushed rocks, wild herbs, soft mouthfeel, bright acid and medium body.

Ripe dark cherry, spiced meat and violets. Very easy drinking. A remarkable value at $40/Magnum and perfect for parties.

Good stuff. Earthy and tight. Many good years ahead of it.

Deep Ruby with a Smoky floral nose that shows more syrah than Grenache at this point. Nice violet and forest floor notes. A bit tight at first but broadens on the palate with sit and the. Firm moderate tannins - a lovely beefy wine.

Intense blackberry and black pepper notes, refreshing acidity and well proportioned, structured tannins. Syrah really shines through in this Cotes du Rhone and it’s a nice change.

Surprisingly dry. High tannins, very smooth. Light for a dry. Lemony blackberry and plum and dark cherry with hints of spice. Good light summer red.
