Earthy, takes time to open, 2012 is a big year for grivot and the wine was served too cold. Very forward red fruit, good amount of tannins and quite a burn. Maybe a bit too much “ampleur” for a lunch occasion but a very well made wine.

Opened 2hr prior, deep red and dark fruit on the nose. Very light on the palette, maybe given half. Didn’t look advanced in age, fruit was most obvious sign of “half bottle prematurity”.
