Everything you could want in a village level Côte de Beaune red. Rich, sultry, sappy dark cherry all over the nose. Some gorgeous sous-bois earthiness, a bit of spice. Powerful in the mouth, with a big initial whack of savory cherry and dark minerals. Not super complex but doesn’t skimp. Medium length finish with a little peppery note from the alcohol (14.5%), and decent acids.

An exceptional burgundy for the price! Typical bouquet on the nose and rich, dried dark cherries and sous bois in the glass.

Deep ruby, red and black fruit, fairly full bodied, medium finish. New oak present, ample tannins. Lovely.
