Such a baby. Bruised apples, lanolin, ginger, saffron, and amazing acid to balance the sugar.

Epic wine. One of the best dessert wines I've had in a long while, maybe ever. This wine has so much power: the densest Huet 1er trie I've ever tasted. It's as classic as it can get. Botrytis notes are on steroids here, all that beeswax, honey, quince, lemon curd goodness. Great, great wine...

One of the best dessert wines I've ever had - intense beeswax notes and honeysuckle - lower RS than you'd expect

Rich and honeyed, but with plenty of acidity, it is surprisingly dry, showing more like a demi-sec than a moelleux. That lack of apparent sweetness makes it more of a palate-cleansing digestif than a dessert in and of itself, but also gives it much more versatility for pairing with food.

Not exactly exciting or sumptuous to the palate. Not a repeat for me.
