Hitting the decanter the color is a very extracted gold-orange, very cool. Rich ripe pineapple, lemon rind, maybe some green apple on the nose. Palate is rich with sweetness, but so balanced, lightly oxidative minerals with a touch of a salt-like profile lingering at the tip of my tongue. Fairly viscous in the glass, legs all around after a good swirl. Our first Huet, not to be the last, maybe we should have started with a new vintage, but why not live a little? Quite enjoyable.

Great finisher for the night with all those huge Cabs! Old? No that is the style. Almost Sauterne like! Delicious fruits of candied apricots and peaches! Very impressive. Brought by Dennis!
