This was a huge Pinot, big red and blue fruits, slight petrol smell and the beginning that burned off but gave a unique attribute. Forest floor, mushrooms.

Bright translucent ruby core, on the nose the wine displays a nice freshness of red berries and candies cherry. The palate is medium bodied, juicy with good length. A couple more years of age and this wine will sing!

A beautiful, persistent, and much too young wine that tasted oaky and sweet right after Cornelissen Contadino and rigatoni all'amatriciana. Good thing I happened to sample it right before decanting. Palate context is everything.
