Red-Black fruit compote, iron, truffle, cigar box, white pepper. Rounded acid-smooth velvet tannin balance, medium bodied, satin texture, long earthy baking spice finish. A bit shutdown, needed lots of time to open up, has the structure to be wonderful once it awakens. Elegance formed from initial rusticity.

Bright ruby with brick color. Well developed elegant on the nose with aromas of vanilla and red berries. The smallest climat in Morey-St.-Denis. Domain Hubert Lignier is located in MSD and family managed through 5 generations. They produce fine wines well respected by wine critics. Aged in 20-30% new oak for 20-22 months. The style of MSD Pinot Noir is delicate and sensual, just opposite to those of Gevrey-Chambertin. Great to taste the wine from the best experts of this terroir. Rating 4,1/5
