Meursault Chardonnay

Serve just above cellar temp, once it opens up this wine has so much going on. Racy and fast at first, calms down and shows grilled pineapple, matchstick and zesty citrus. Balanced wine across the entire palate. No hard edges, with green apple, lemon and lime custard and hint of that pineapple in the back of the palate. Fun wine as an aperitif-

Really lovely white Burgundy, on the lighter side. Elegant, nice minerality and mouthfeel. Tastes sophisticated...

Buttery with some spices and tangerine on the nose, exotic citrus fruits and minerals on the palate

Green apples, lemon plup, pear, great minerality finish, super soft and clean in the mouth.

Creamy nose, white peaches, honeysuckle. Light mango and vivacious acidity. Tart. Tropical. A beauty.

Rich and round, upfront and mouth filling. Nice texture but a little short to finish. Salinity on the finish pulling the wine through.

Classic style, slight reduction, but a little one dimensional & lacking complexity.

Big green apple, Meyer lemon, grapefruit pit, underripe pineapple, yellow and white florals, lots of lees contact, chalk, wet stones, crush rocks, light minerality and nice polished finished.

complex nose and solid palate ~ burnt toast, rich tropical and pit fruits, good verve up front but lacking on the back

Stellar wine...honeysuckle & stones on the nose/rich on the palate/flavors of stone fruits, saline, key lime/long, clean seductive finish...wonderful pairing with freshly shucked oysters, stone crab claws & spot prawns...
