Very good. Light and bright. Slightly tropical. Dense and exotic on the midpalate. Intense but carried lightly. Excellent

Fully mature, needs decanting and time. Lots of white fruit and flowers. More powerful than expected. Can offset some very strong food tastes. Excellent effort for a 2011.

A mid to rich lemon in colour. Mark our host was a little concerned by the colour initially. Buttery and citrus notes until it gained some air. No need to be concerned. A wonderful Criots of real Grand Cru quality with mineral and citrus of profound intensity. It grew in the glass as we tasted it. Drinking at its peak. No further cellaring required. A wonderful experience. Thanks Mark.

Classy restrained with good acid and refreshment. Not dissimilar to Batard which is next paddock. All of these showing Dry Extract consistently adding to the intensity of flavour.

The counterpoint to the Roulot. This is an example of power & generosity. Aromatically, this jumps out of the glass with spicy notes accenting rich tropical fruit. The palate shows a creamy texture & a mix of bright, yet fleshy fruit. Another magnum. Absolutely brilliant wine. Thanks to @Matthew Bigby for sharing this.

Initially closed nose but with air revealed aromas of cut flowers. Again great intensity and acid cut at the finish. What a marvellous bracket of white burgundies!

Nothing like a 2010... More opulent than I was expecting but wonderfully lengthy and persistent.
