Not an expert in burgundy but I liked it a lot. It was a risky bottle that was stored in unknown conditions. 2009 drunk in 2024. Nevertheless, it showed great balance of acidity, sweetness and tannins, although somewhat disassembled structure. Power manifests itself when you sip but not for long. First notes were lac and leather, then periods of quietness, but then evolved with fresh oaky notes, then jammed wild strawberries, and then freshly crushed ripe blueberries. Overall evolution was not long but did driver very very pleasant experience.

This was really reduced. After a double decant and serious swirling, we were able to wake this up. Once it opened up, it was excellent.

Expressive bouquet: flowers, strawberry, chocolate, fig, animal farm, mushrooms, wet wool and vanilla. Well balanced, good acidity, evolving taste. Flavours of milk chocolate with wild strawberry and sweet tobacco in the finish. Quaffable wine with persistent aftertaste. Great wine.

Mature aromatics intertwined with fruit. Confirmed on palate: red cherries/kirsch, blackberry compote, iron, leather, glazed mushrooms. Persistent minerality, energetic acidity/smooth satin earthy/savory tannins. Everything in harmony. Sampled on flower day Biodynamic calendar.
No decanting. Tasted throughout 2 hours. Vines sourced from En Orveaux.
Most 05’s I sampled were stiff/hard last fall. Nice to see a generous side. Lots of life left, though still not at their peak this producer encouraged more cork pulling.
