Another great find of 2020 - stumbled onto this in a lucky bag (福袋) - absolutely blew my expectations. Super balanced acidity with sharp precise flavors of lemon curd and vanilla cream.

Inspired by wine-buddy Thijs, I decided to pull the trigger on this one today.
And he’s completely right.
Explosive nose of fireworks, candied lemonpeel, peach kernel and decadent spicebox aromas. Nice and creamy on the palate, wonderful viscosity, spicy acidity (is there such a thing?) and mineral play on the long and fresh finish.
Kudos to Mr. Guffens.

Wow...so fresh and mineral. Flowers, yellow stone fruit, flint like gun powder. Oh boy, this is good, and a much better bottle than some weeks ago. Catch some if you find it!
