Picked a true gem on International Cabernet Franc Day! Beautiful refined cabernet franc aroma without wild yeast run amok. Red fruit, tomato, camphor, and pencil shavings. Tart berries, gravel, and stone. Slightly more body than I am used to. Higher ABV for a Loire cabernet franc but does not taste boozy at all. Dusty tannins and a medium-length bitter chocolate finish. Looking forward to taste this side-by-side with their other cuvee's.
