Muscadet of the Alps! Nose is wet hay, wild flowers, minerals, some underarm and more. So complex and expressive. Palate is super juicy and has huge acid and energy but also a pillowy texture and terrific fruit intensity. Long and so pretty. Let’s see what air does. This has gained lovely richness with air. Still a 9.3 but love that contrast with the acids. Also killer finesse. Close to a 9.4.

Bready and yeasty. Not oxidative, just prolonged lees contact I’d imagine. A hint of butterscotch; some oak? Somewhat like vin claire champagne... Very crisp, if texturally a bit thin. Intriguing.

Showing really well, perfect lunchtime wine. Super aromatic, pungent, heady, very floral. White flower with a honeyed edge and a kiss of volatility. Flowers, quince, white raspberry and slate on the palate with a bruised apple finish. Lingers with a cidery impression. Love the balance of palate richness and nervy acids. Complex and delicious. Love!

A perfect wine for a very non humid mid August day. Gorgeous. Nose of lemon, hay, white pepper, wild white flowers, superb minerality, loads of vegetables and really not a lot of fruit. Love it. Palate is juicy abs super clean. Very pure. Tastes like spring water but denser, more textured and vinous. So pure. Herbal finish. Long finish. Just dazzling. Superb minerality on the finish. So sappy. After air it gains finesse and lemony sweetness adds to the finish. Such sap.

Nose is a bit riper than normal. But the alpine scents of mountain grown Jacquere are there. Wild white flowers and pollen. Lovely nose. Palate has the acidity though! 🔥rich but also a ton of acid and freshness. Terrific purity and explosiveness. Excellent balance and freshness. Incredible length. Showing great complexity now. Awesome.

Huge alpine nose. Fresh hay, subtle mint, flowers, minerals, fresh meadow, palate is electric with nice richness balanced by terrific acidity and minerality. Amazing texture, juiciness and length. Stunning Jacquere.

Killer Ja Ja. Lovely mountain stream nose. Green grass, lemon, Meyer lemon, alpine scents of white flowers. Almost confectionary as well. Palate is crisp and mineral with great juiciness and balance. Man this is so well made. The purity is unreal. Such a long finish. 16’s so good here. Great texture and some kumquat and other stone fruits but the overall impression is liquid minerals. When these are on nothing like them. Brilliant.

So good. Needed my alpine Jacquere fix. Super mineral nose wiry alpine scents. Amazingly clean. Palate is crisp and clean with terrific minerality and crisp 14 acids. Nice richness as well and it’s a lingerer. Terrific wine. Amazingly lithe and mineral. Love the alpine vibe.
