Oct 9th, 2015Eggy reduced and dilute upon opening and difficult to drink. Day 2 is much better as reduction blows off quite a bit and fruit fills in. Ripe cranberry/light cherry profile with oak that seems to integrate well with the fruit. Should be great in 5 years assuming redux clears up in btl which I'm sure it will. Weightless tannin and elegant. QPR? Not there for my taste! Would rather drink Rinaldi Langhe Nebbiolo 2012 for $30!

May 25th, 20142010 vintage. At Hostellerie Levernois. Village wine. Medium ruby hue. Took a while to open. Aromatic, slight leather and spice notes, blueberry. Some secondary and tertiary notes starting to show. On the palate, medium acidity and body, medium tannins - crunchy. The wine has some concentration but not a whole lot of complexity at this stage of its development (or possibly ever for that matter). Much better than typical village Chambolle. Drink now until 2022+. Decent.

Jul 21st, 2017Good cork. Very nice young burgundy smell. Nice cherry red color, slightly cloudy. Nice noise with fresh bright cherry smell. Decanted, big glasses. Did not change much. Bright cherry taste with very slight earth tone on mid tongue. Would like to have a case in 2026. Enjoyed this wine.

Feb 14th, 2016Clarity about the grape and place. Well defined. But it is not super long or complex, but very pretty with tart red fruit. Great for a village level Burgundy
