Initially quite reduced and aromatically closed but eventually opens up to reveal its Vosne perfume. The palate is impeccable though, with excellent density and richness, succulent fruit and acids and a long saline-mineral finish.

BOOM! Lived a glorious, 90 minute life. Nuanced, subtle, yet retaining excellent acidity. Just gorgeous.

'78--very nice nose and still very fresh on the palate. If not for a little bitterness on the finish, this would've been outstanding instead of very good. From the look of the fill and cork (and the zippy freshness), this was most probably a reconditioned bottle.
